We are running a forum for discussing specific Windows events at
http://forum.adiscon.com/forum,18.htmlRight now, it is very much about troubleshooting Windows events, but I would appreciate if some syslog-related question would pop up there, too. In any case, you can find information on the formats there and on its sister pages, so I think this might be a useful link.
