Syslog-ng Viewer not showing data

Hello All,
I have a solaris 9 box, running Syslog.
The viewer I have via i.e. shows the respective tables, but when I do a search,
nothing comes up.
Any ideas?

Re: Syslog-ng Viewer not showing data

If you look in the tables (using the mysql command line or phpmyadmin, etc) can you verify that there are logs in the table?

Re: Syslog-ng Viewer not showing data

Yes, there are entries in the tables.  I have several hundred tables all with entries in them.
Thx for the replies so far btw.
FYI:  Within the syslog viewer, it goes immediately to a "done" screen with no data being displayed.

Re: Syslog-ng Viewer not showing data

It's not obvious what the problem is.  Are you able to browse through the logs?

The way I would go about troubleshooting it is capturing the SQL command that is being built in search.php, then manually running that command to see if results come up.  If not, there is probably an obvious issue with the SQL.

Re: Syslog-ng Viewer not showing data

It is something with the viewer, tables, queries etc are all ok, just the viewer doesn't display anything.
