Hi,

I have this message when my ubuntu syslog-ng client try to connect to
my debian etch syslog-ng sever ??

Sep  4 17:02:07 secouriv syslog-ng[4687]: Connection failed; error='Connection refused (111)', time_reopen='10'
I don't see where is the problem

any idea ?

Are you using TCP to send the syslog messages?

Otherwise, it seems like it is probably an application that is creating that message.
