Dear All , Grin

I need to install a Syslog Server that logging all the events in my network (Routers & Switches). The events that I need that logging for example : DOWN / UP of interfaces events , modifications in the configurations of equipment events ,  users login and logout events, etc. In addition I need that the events are seen by means of a graphical interface (type web page) and they are possible to be ordered and to be looked for by equipment or date. Since I can do all this? There is some application that is front-end of the Syslog Server?  Huh

Thanks in advance. Wink
Best Regards.

Hello,

There are many different application front-ends for syslog.  Each has different abilities.  You can look through them here:http://www.syslog.org/index.php?name=Web_Links&req=viewlink&cid=5

Additionally, tools like monitorware and splunk should do what you are looking for as well.

This is a pretty popular search query, so I thought I'd update it.

Open source wise, there are two primary graphical tools - php-syslog-ng and php-logcon

There are also a number of others (commercial and free) here: http://www.syslog.org/wiki/Main/EventViewers
