[A database connection problem was encountered,Please check config/config.php to make sure everything is correct and make sure the MySQL server is up and running]

Hi,

i have configured the syslog in debian linux.but i am getting an error when i try accessing  the php in GUI .A database connection problem was encountered,Please check config/config.php to make sure everything is correct and make sure the MySQL server is up and running. but  have troughly checked all the configuration in config.php and all user name , password and dbname and port number. i have checked all the site for the help but i did n't find any solution.i am able to login in to DB . and i am geeting the log as well,  any one who have solved the same problem.Please suggest me how to  solve the problem.

Do I correctly assume you talk about phpLogCon? If so, please let me know, I can probably help

But i have solved the same problem .which is having the problem with DB connection.
