Do any of the syslogd's support sending the logs over an encrypted tunnel?

I know it is commonly done using syslog_ng using TCP and stunnel to encrypt the logs. I believe there are some FAQ's on how to do that at syslog_ng's site.

Here is a writeup on how to configure stunnel and syslog_ng to encrypt syslog logs from a host to a central syslog server over an encrypted tunnel.

This is solaris centric, but most all of it should apply to any unix/linux.
